The Local Advisory Board
Wreake Valley Academy is part of the Bradgate Education Partnership Trust.
The Bradgate Education Partnership Trust Local Advisory Board Terms of Reference state that the following governors may be appointed:
- Up to four Parent Governors elected by parents of registered pupils at the school:
Mark Measures, Julie Dealey, 2 x Vacancies
- Up to four Community Governors appointed by the governing body:
Carol Chambers (Chair), Rita Laughton, 2 x Vacancies
- Up to two Staff Governors appointed by the governing body: Matt Reid, Jane Middleton
- The Acting Principal: Nicola Morland

Except for The Principal, Governors are subject to retirement after 4 years of service but are eligible for re-appointment or re-election at their final meeting.
The Clerk to The Governors is Rachael Boyall.
The Local Advisory Board meets at least three times a year with additional meetings as required. The work of the Local Advisory Board is split into two committees: Outcomes, Resources, each committee meets termly. Working party groups are set up as required to focus on specific tasks.
